In a surprising partnership that breaks traditional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Uncovered

According to the official release, "A strange confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of banned rituals and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The narrative features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret cult.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar trials and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Metamorphoses

The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Extra Content

Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an unique katana alongside numerous items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
