What Has Ethiopian Officials Declared?

The leader of staff section of the military, General Hachalu, recently said in an interview that the defense forces was in a "strong stance" as "many thousands of youths" were entering service, which he said was "a warning to our enemies".

Historical Origins of the Conflict

For more than half a century from the late 19th century, Eritrea was ruled by Italian rulers.

After World War II, it was then administered by the British administration before turning into a integrated region of Ethiopia.
